Drought 🏜️ 🏜️ hit a little village in Malawi and its surroundings.Life became extremely difficult since everyone depended on subsistence farming 🧺🧺 🌾🌾.Some of the villagers began to move to greener💚🍏 pastures.A 14 year old👨🏽‍🦲 boy who couldn't go to school 🏫🎒 because of the situation visited the library 🏡 to learn.He chanced on a book 📖 called 'Using Energy'.He👨🏽‍🦲 decided to apply what he was learning in the book 📖 by putting scrap materials together to build a windmill to produce electricity 🔌 🔌 💡⚡. The villagers laughed 😂🤣😹 at him,he was called names but he refused to quit.Eventually, the old bicycle 🚲🚲 parts and other scrap was turned into a windmill which brought light 🚨🕯️🚨 to the village.It was used to pump ⛽⛽ water 💦🌊💦 to irrigate farms 🌾 🌾 and change the entire community.Today William Kamkwamba🧔🏾‍♂️ has become a global 🌍 icon.He has received scholarships,awards and has been recognized worldwide.Successful people think 🤔💬 🤔 outside the box 🎁.The average person says "this is how it is done"(the status quo); successful 🤠 😀 people wonder 🤔"is there another way"? Joseph's interpretation of Pharaoh's dream could have ended with just the meaning 😕 of the dream.However, because he thought 🧐 🤔 💭 outside the box 🎁 he came up with a solution as well.Successful people 🕵🏾‍♀️👴🏼👷🏾‍♀️👳 solve problems that others accept as the norm 😞.
