What did William Faulkner, James Joyce, Ernest Hemingway, Eugene O'Neil and many other well known authors and writes have ?? Their writings are filled with tragedy, pessimism, loneliness and darkness.
They had no belief in a life after death, no hope for a future except the dust from which they came.
Jesus, the Christ, said "I am the resurrection and the life, he that believes in me and lives in me shall never die. Because I live you too shall live."
Our Lord had wonderful times with people just being with them. He ate with them, cried and laughed with them but was killed by them. He didn't stop loving them when He took our sins unto himself. Yeshua didn't blame them for his death by man's hand, he said "Father, forgive them".
Our master taught us we will live in a new home built by his hands, laugh and be happy with him in the new city, forever. And we will never cry with him, again!
That is pure optimism if you believe in Him. Thank you Lord. Amen !!
