Hello, I would like to share with you the message from 15 août 2026 from “The Good Seed” daily calendar.

Behold, I will rain bread from heaven for you. And the people shall go out and gather a certain quota every day, that I may test them, whether they will walk in My law or not. (Exodus 16:4)

Food in the wilderness
The Israelites had left Egypt and had been commanded by the Lᴏʀᴅ to go into the wilderness. In this inhospitable place there was no food. What were they to eat there?
In a spiritual sense, this also applies to us believers. We have been saved and now follow the Lord Jesus. For us to advance daily in faith, our new life needs to be nourished. We have to learn that we can find nothing in the world that strengthens and builds us up inwardly.
When the Israelites thought they would starve in the wilderness, God gave them manna. Every morning, He caused bread to rain down from heaven. They only had to go out and gather a daily portion of food.
God also provides spiritual food for us which nourishes our faith. In the Bible, He presents to us the Lord Jesus, who said of Himself, “I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me shall never hunger” (John 6:35). The Son of God, who came down from heaven as a man, is the nourishment for our new life.
When we – ideally every day – read the Bible, we find there the unique person of the Lord Jesus described and how He lived on earth to the delight of God. He is our perfect example. The more we “nourish” ourselves with Him, the more strength and endurance we receive to live as God pleases.

Today’s reading: Joshua 15:1-19 – 1 Corinthians 12:14-31
