Praise is not merely a response after the victory. It can be the very thing that opens the way for God’s intervention.
When Judah faced an enemy they could not defeat, they did not rely on their own strength. They turned to the Lord, and as they began to sing and praise, God moved on their behalf.
“Now when they began to sing and to praise, the LORD set ambushes against the people… who had come against Judah.” (2 Chronicles 20:22)
Whatever battle you are facing, do not wait until it is over to praise God. Praise Him in the midst of it, trusting that the battle belongs to the Lord.
