Psalms 32:5-7 (KJV) I acknowledged my sin unto thee, and mine iniquity have I not hid. I said, I will confess my transgressions unto the LORD; and thou forgavest the iniquity of my sin. Selah.
For this shall every one that is godly pray unto thee in a time when thou mayest be found: surely in the floods of great waters they shall not come nigh unto him.
Thou art my hiding place; thou shalt preserve me from trouble; thou shalt compass me about with songs of deliverance. Selah.

We should know sinning is wrong, sometimes when I mess up I here the voice of the enemy saying "you've messed up to often and God won't forgive you this time" but I must repent for that anyway. Because with a since heart God will always forgive you, because you don't know exactly when probation ends, but I still do it because I don't know when my time is up and when I breathe my last breath it will be to late because if that happens there is no hope for you. And if you die with iniquity on your heart then that's it end of story no next chapter until the day of judgment on the second resurrection then you die the second death.

The depths of David's repentance
David's repentance was sincere and deep. There was no effort to palliate his crime. No desire to escape the judgment threatened, inspired his prayer. But he saw the enormity of his transgression against God; he saw the defilement of his soul; he loathed his sin. It was not for pardon only that he prayed, but for purity of heart. David did not in despair give over his struggle. In the promise of God to repentant sinners he saw the evidence of his pardon and acceptance.
