Heavenly Father,
Thank You for Your great love and mercy. We are encouraged by the story of Zacchaeus, who desired to see Jesus despite every obstacle. Lord, give us the same hunger and longing to know You more. Help us to seek You with all our hearts, for Your Word says, “Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you” James 4:8.
Lord Jesus, just as You looked up and saw Zacchaeus in the sycamore tree, You see every heart that sincerely seeks You. You knew his desire before he spoke a word. Thank You that You still seek those who are lost, broken, and burdened by sin. Your Word declares, “For the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost” Luke 19:10.
Father, grant us true repentance. Like Zacchaeus, may we willingly turn away from sin, make right what is wrong, and walk in integrity and generosity. Fill our hearts with Your love so that we become a blessing to others. Let the grace we receive overflow through kindness, compassion, and giving. Wash away every sin through the blood of Jesus and fill us with the light of Your Holy Spirit.
Lord, may it be said of our homes as it was said of Zacchaeus, “Today salvation has come to this house” Luke 19:9. Work in us, transform us, and use us to bring Your light to others.
