Behind Every Good and Perfect Gift “Behind every good and perfect gift are the favours of God.” Every good thing we receive in our lives has God as its source. People may help us, opportunities may come, and doors may open; but behind them all is the hand of God. Sometimes, we rejoice over the blessing we have received, but forget the One who gave us that blessing. Don’t just look at the gift; look to the Giver. Be thankful not only for what God has given you, but also for the things He has withheld from you.
