God’s plan of redemption was not an afterthought; from the beginning, His purpose was centered in Jesus Christ. What had once been a mystery has now been revealed—God is bringing His saving purposes to fulfillment through His Son. This verse reminds us that even when we cannot understand everything God is doing, we can trust the One whose plan is greater than what we can see. God has a purpose, Christ is at the center of it, and His plan will not fail.
