Solomon reminds us that generations and circumstances change, but the patterns of life continually repeat themselves under God’s sovereign watch. Nothing catches God by surprise, and nothing that seems forgotten or lost escapes His attention. We may not always understand His timing or purposes, but we can trust that God sees the whole picture when we see only a small part. Times change, circumstances change, but God remains firmly in control.
