No two Seers are exactly alike.
You can get an insight into their Anointing through their God-given name and how they operated in the spirit.
Although other prophets could see in the spirit, there are nine prophets known with a Seer Anointing in the Bible.
Activation 32.
Ask for the Samuel Anointing.
Samuel was dedicated to the Lord from his mother’s womb. He was a Seer Prophet who anointed Israel’s first two kings.
His name means “Name of God” or “heard of God.”
Samuel’s Prophetic ministry was marked by uncanny Accuracy.
The Bible says the Lord would not let any of his words fall to the ground (1 Samuel 3:19).
Samuel was a miracle child from the tribe of Levi and the last judge in Israel.
The Samuel Anointing is bent toward raising up other Seers in Holiness.
Activation 33.
Ask for the Gad Anointing.
Gad means “Fortune.”
Gad the Seer was a Prophet in the days of David and was a trusted voice in the king’s life. He was known as “the king’s Seer” (2 Samuel 24:11).
The Gad Anointing is a Seer Anointing bent toward spiritual warfare purposes.
Ask the Lord for the Gad Anointing when you are in spiritual warfare mode.
Activation 34.
Ask for the Zadok Anointing.
Zadok means righteous and just.
He was a high priest during David’s reign.
David trusted Zadok to watch over the Ark of the Covenant.
The Zadok Anointing is a Seer Anointing to steward the Presence and Glory of God.
Ask the Lord for the Zadok Anointing when you need to steward what you see in the Glory realm.
Activation 35.
Ask for the Heman Anointing.
Heman means Faithful.
The grandson of Samuel, Heman was marked
for his Wisdom (1 Kings 4:31; 1 Chronicles 2:6). He was the psalmist who wrote Psalm 88.
Influential and multi-talented as a Seer, songwriter, father and Levite,
Heman is mentioned as one of the king David’s Seers in 2 Chronicles 25:5.
The Heman Anointing is a Seer Anointing that stewards wisely and expresses itself creatively.
Activation 36.
Ask for the Iddo Anointing.
Iddo means “timely.”
2 Chronicles 12:15 called Iddo a Seer.
Apparently, there was a book of visions he penned (2 Chronicles 13:22).
He had visions concerning Jeroboam son of Nebat (2 Chronicles 9:29).
Similar to an Issachar Anointing, the Iddo Anointing is a Seer Anointing that sees timely events.
Activation 37.
Ask for the Hanani Anointing.
Hanani means Gracious.
Despite the name, God sent Hanani to rebuke a
king named Asa, who put him in prison.
Read the account in 2 Chronicles 16:7-10.
The Hanani Anointing is a Seer Anointing to stand strong in the face of persecution.
Activation 38.
Ask for the Asaph Anointing.
Asaph means one who gathers together.
2 Chronicles 29:30 describes him as both a Seer and a skilled musician in King David’s time.
As a psalmist, he wrote psalms 50 and 73-83.
He was part of the original Tabernacle of David.
The Asaph Anointing is a Seer Anointing for creativity, including musical expression and writing.
Kim Clement had an Asaph anointing.
Activation 39.
Ask for the Jeduthun Anointing.
Jeduthun means Praising.
He was assigned to oversee the temple music
service (1 Chronicles 16:31) and was known as one of the king’s Seers (2 Chronicles 35:15).
Jeduthun is thought to have written the music that goes along with Psalms 39, 62 and 77.
This musical prophet also bore six sons who were musical prophets (1 Chronicles 15:1-6).
He was also the father of a gatekeeper (1 Chronicles 16:38).
The Jeduthun Anointing is one a Seer Anointing that sees the Presence of the Lord and teaches others who to enter in to His gates.
Activation 40.
Ask for the Amos Anointing.
Amos means "burden-bearer".
Amos was a contemporary of the prophets Hosea and Isaiah in the days of Uzziah, king of Judah.
Unlike many other prophets, he was not the son of a prophet or trained in the Prophetic (Amos 7:14).
God called him while he was tending to flocks.
The Amos Anointing is a Seer Anointing for intercession, or bearing the burdens of the Lord.
