THE INCOMPARABLE CHRIST
I wonder why Christians waste your saliva arguing with unbelievers over the supremacy of Christ. There is no basis for comparison. Don’t argue either over which religion is better. Christianity isn’t religion, it is relationship with the one true God.
All the religions in the world are either man’s attempt to please a God he does not even know and with whom he has no relationship, or they are measures for pleasing the devils that has taken him captive.
In Christianity we are in relationship with the one true God and His Son Jesus Christ. This relationship confers upon us divine authority to become sons of God and act accordingly.
4. What is man that You are mindful of him, and the son of man that You visit him?
5. For You have made him a little lower than the angels, and You have crowned him with glory and honor.
6. You have made him to have dominion over the works of Your hands; You have put all things under his feet.
The above passage was actually a prophecy about the Lord Jesus Christ but you are His representative on Christ, vested with the power to act on His behalf. That tells you the magnitude of the blessedness we have in Christ Jesus. If you don’t already know this, biko, please, go back to school!
