Prayer Against Negative Thoughts, Hopelessness & Attacks on the Mind‼️ Heavenly Father, I come to You today and ask You to guard my mind, my thoughts, and my emotions. Your Word tells me that You have not given me a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind. So today, I choose to stand on that truth. Lord, every thought that tells me there is no hope, I reject it. Every thought that tells me things will never get better, I reject it. Every voice of fear, dread, worthlessness, confusion, condemnation, or despair that does not line up with Your Word, I refuse to agree with it. Your Word says we can “take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ” (2 Corinthians 10:5). So Jesus, help me do exactly that. I surrender my mind to You. Where my thoughts have become overwhelmed, bring peace. Where I have been expecting the worst, restore hope. Where my mind has been replaying painful memories, accusations, fears, or imagined disasters, speak truth into me. Amen.
