August 30, 2026 (day 242/365)
SUNDAY
GOD'S WORD FOR THE DAY
“Live With Eternity in Mind”
Ecclesiastes 12:14
“For God will bring every work into judgment, including every secret thing, whether good or evil.”
This is the Word of God. Ecclesiastes 12 reminds us that our lives are not meaningless or without accountability. One day, God will bring everything into judgment, including the things that no one else has seen or known.
This truth challenges us to look beyond temporary success, possessions, recognition, and pleasure. What matters most is not simply how others see us, but how we live before God. Our hidden choices, private thoughts, and daily actions all have eternal significance.
Living with eternity in mind does not mean being afraid of the future. It means allowing the reality of God's judgment to shape the way we live today. We can choose integrity when no one is watching, faithfulness when no one applauds, and obedience when it is difficult.
May God help us to live wisely and faithfully, remembering that our lives belong to Him and that every day is an opportunity to prepare for eternity. Amen.
Have a blessed day with the Lord.
