📖 TODAY’S BIBLE READING Thursday, September 3 📜 OLD TESTAMENT 1 SAMUEL 10 — Saul Anointed King ✝️ NEW TESTAMENT REVELATION 8 — The Seventh Seal & the Seven Trumpets 🌿 MAJOR PROPHETS ISAIAH 45 — The Lord Is the Only God 🌿 TODAY’S REFLECTION 📜 1 Samuel 10 Samuel anoints Saul and gives him instructions from the Lord. Saul is transformed and empowered by God's Spirit for his assignment. This reminds us that when God calls us, He also equips us for what He has entrusted to us. ✝️ Revelation 8 The seventh seal is opened, followed by silence in heaven and the sounding of the first four trumpets. The chapter reminds us of the seriousness of God's judgment and the importance of remaining spiritually prepared. 🌿 Isaiah 45 God declares that He alone is Lord and that there is no other God besides Him. He is sovereign over nations and history, and His purposes cannot be frustrated. ✨ KEY VERSE “I am the LORD, and there is none else, there is no God beside me.” — Isaiah 45:5 🙏 PRAYER Heavenly Father, thank You because You alone are God and You remain sovereign over our lives and the world around us. Help us to recognize Your calling, depend on Your strength, and faithfully carry out whatever You have entrusted to us. Keep our hearts prepared and our lives pleasing before You.
