From "To Live and Then Live" โ
The supreme value of the Bible is the knowledge of the Living God. Not facts about Him โ knowledge of Him.
Personal and Relational.
That knowledge comes through revelation, and it's two-fold:
The first is natural โ creation itself. It shows us a Creator, but it's non-verbal. It can be debated, argued with, explained away. That's why atheism exists. Creation alone can't bring a man into relationship with God.
The second is personal โ God speaking directly to man. This is where we learn not just that God exists, but who He is and how to relate to Him.
And this second revelation does something creation can't:
It makes us responsible for our sin.
It carries the power to restore us to what we were originally meant to be.
It demands a response โ acceptance or rejection. No neutral ground while we're still living in time.
Which revelation shaped your walk with God more โ what you saw in creation, or what you heard Him say?
