TRUTH THURSDAY: GOD CAN RESTORE WHAT YOU THOUGHT WAS LOST
"And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten..." — Joel 2:25 (KJV)
There are seasons in life when we look back and think, "I have lost too much." Maybe you lost opportunities, time, relationships, resources, or moments you wish you could have handled differently.
But our God is a God of restoration.
Restoration does not always mean that God will give us back the exact thing we lost. Sometimes He restores by giving us a new opportunity, a new direction, renewed strength, or a greater testimony from what we experienced.
Don't allow your past losses to convince you that your future is finished. What is impossible for you is not impossible for God.
If you have made mistakes, repent and move forward. If you have experienced disappointment, don't give up. If you have lost something valuable, bring your pain to God. He is able to take broken pieces and use them for His glory.
Your past may explain where you have been, but it does not have to determine where God is taking you.
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, I bring before You the things I have lost and the disappointments I have experienced. Heal my heart, restore my hope, and help me trust Your plan for my future. Give me the courage to move forward and the faith to believe that You are still working in my life. In Jesus' name, Amen.
Question: What area of your life are you trusting God to restore? Share your prayer request in the comments, and let us pray for one another.
If this message encouraged you, share it with someone who needs hope today.
