There is no better teacher than the Holy Spirit and the Word of God. People can give advice, share knowledge, and point us in different directions, but only God’s truth can truly guide the heart and lead us in the right path. Jesus said, “When he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth” (John 16:13).

That is why we must not allow opinions, traditions, or the voices around us to become greater than Scripture. The Bible should remain our foundation, because Psalm 119:105 says, “Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.” When we are confused, God’s Word gives direction; when we are weak, it gives strength; and when we need correction, it shows us where we must change.

We should come before God with humble hearts, willing not only to hear His Word but to obey it. James 1:22 says, “But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only.” The greatest lesson we can learn is not simply to know more, but to know God, trust His leading, and allow His truth to shape the way we live. Let the Holy Spirit teach you, let the Bible guide you, and let your life show that God’s Word is more than something you read—it is the truth you choose to follow.
