THE GODLY MINISTER Building the minister before building the ministry. TODAY'S LESSON: DON’T CONFUSE BUSYNESS WITH FRUITFULNESS A minister can be extremely busy and still be spiritually unproductive. There is always another meeting. Another phone call. Another sermon. Another programme. Another person needing attention. But being busy is not the same as being fruitful. Jesus did not respond to every demand by saying yes. He knew when to withdraw, when to pray, and when to focus on what the Father had given Him to do. 📖 “And he said unto them, Come ye yourselves apart into a desert place, and rest a while.” — Mark 6:31 A godly minister must learn that everything that needs your attention does not necessarily deserve your attention. Sometimes saying “not now” is wisdom, not disobedience. THE CHALLENGE Don't measure your ministry by how exhausted you are. Measure it by faithfulness, fruit, obedience, and Christlike impact. THE PRACTICE This week, identify: What must I do? What can I delegate? What should I stop doing? What deserves more of my attention? Protect time for God, family, preparation, people, and rest. REFLECTION Am I genuinely fruitful, or am I simply always busy? REMEMBER A godly minister doesn't try to do everything. He learns to do what God has actually entrusted to him.
