GOD'S WORD FOR THE DAY
“Look to God in the Day of Trouble”
Zechariah 12:10
“Then they will look on Me whom they pierced. Yes, they will mourn for Him as one mourns for his only son.”
This is the Word of God. Zechariah 12 points to a time when God’s people will recognize their need for Him and turn to Him with genuine repentance. Their mourning reflects a heart awakened to the seriousness of sin and the depth of God’s grace.
We, too, can become comfortable with our spiritual lives and fail to recognize how deeply we need God. But when we truly look to Him, He opens our hearts to repentance, humility, and renewal.
May God give us hearts that continually look to Him, recognize our need for His grace, and respond to Him with sincere repentance and faith. Amen.
