Immediate communion

Lord, my God,

I thank You for the wonderful way You opened for me through Jesus. You removed the old barriers that kept me from You.

Forgive me for the times I doubted Your love. I often felt too unworthy or afraid to come to Your throne. I forgot that Jesus made a way for me, a sinner, to come to You.

Help me to use this direct access. Give me strength to pray more, especially in hard times. Teach my heart to find peace by bringing my burdens to You.

**Help me to trust in Your constant invitation to prayer.** Guard my life in the light of Jesus, my perfect Mediator.

In Jesus' name. Amen.
