Kingdom Carriers | When Kingdom Paths Cross Today I travelled some distance from home to catch up with a friend for lunch and fellowship. Afterwards, I stayed around the area for a little while enjoying the lovely weather. That's when something unexpected happened. I came across a group of people I had never met before. They were sharing Bibles. That immediately caught my attention, and before long we were talking. I discovered that they were elders and leaders from a local church, simply out sharing the Word of God. And there I was circling around with copies of Kingdom Carriers. I had the privilege of placing five copies into their hands. Their gratitude genuinely touched me. As I walked away, I found myself thinking about the remarkable way Kingdom paths sometimes cross. I hadn't travelled there looking for them. They certainly weren't expecting me. They were simply doing what God had placed in their hands. And I was carrying what God had placed in mine. Then, for a brief moment, those two assignments intersected. That's what stayed with me. The Kingdom is bigger than our church buildings, our familiar circles, our neighbourhoods, and the people we already know. Across cities and communities, there are believers faithfully carrying their part of God's mission—often without ever knowing who else is doing the same. Paul wrote: “I planted the seed, Apollos watered it, but God has been making it grow.”  (1 Corinthians 3:6) Different people. Different assignments. Different places. But the same King. Today reminded me that we don't need to orchestrate every Kingdom connection. Sometimes we simply remain faithful with what God has placed in our hands, and somewhere along the journey, our path crosses with someone carrying their part. What a privilege when it does.
