“in whom the whole building, being fitted together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord, in whom you also are being built together for a dwelling place of God in the Spirit.” — Ephesians 2:21–22(NKJV)

Paul describes the church as something far greater than a building we gather inside—the people of God are the building. Christ is the cornerstone, and every believer is being joined together as part of what God is building. We were never intended to live the Christian life completely isolated from one another; God forms us into one body where we worship, serve, encourage, and grow together. And through His Spirit, God Himself dwells among His people.
The church isn’t where we go. In Christ, the church is who we are.
