⚠️ HE HATED CHRISTIANS SO MUCH, HE ATTACKED ONE AND LEFT HIM FOR DEAD. BUT THE MAN HE ATTACKED DIDN’T RESPOND WITH HATE. HE PRAYED FOR YASSIR. YASSIR NEVER FORGOT IT. YEARS LATER, HE SAYS EVERYTHING CHANGED. THE MAN WHO ONCE HATED CHRISTIANS BECAME A FOLLOWER OF JESUS CHRIST. Yassir Eric says he grew up in Sudan as a devout Muslim and became deeply hostile toward Christianity. According to his testimony, that hatred eventually turned violent. While studying at a university, Yassir encountered a Christian student named Zakariya. Yassir says he and others attacked Zakariya so severely that they believed they had killed him. But Zakariya survived. And instead of responding with hatred or revenge, Yassir says Zakariya did something that deeply affected him: He prayed for the people who had attacked him. That response stayed with Yassir. According to his testimony, Zakariya's forgiveness and prayers became part of a journey that eventually led Yassir to reconsider what he believed about Christians and about Jesus. The man who once hated Christians eventually became one. Today, Yassir Eric follows Jesus Christ and shares his Christian faith with others. His testimony is a striking picture of the radical command Jesus gave His followers: 📖 “Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you.” — Matthew 5:44 The Christian Yassir attacked didn't overcome hatred with more hatred.
