Understand between Forgiveness and Wisdom...
Some people will destroy the very hand that saved them, just to feel powerful for a moment.

The Falcon ruled the Crag of Whispers, a peak so high that even valley eagles feared it.

One day, a forest fire swept through the valley. The Falcon spotted a Chameleon clinging to a burning branch.

He flew into the flames, rescued him, and carried him to safety.

When the Chameleon recovered, the Falcon shared his food and taught him the ways of the mountain.

“You may stay,” the Falcon told him. “But never imitate my hunting call. It warns the eagles that this peak is protected.”

The Chameleon bowed his head.

“You saved my life. I will never do you bad.”

But gratitude faded as comfort grew.

One morning, the Chameleon saw an eagle circling below.

And a thought entered his mind.

If the eagles take this mountain, perhaps they will reward me.

So he climbed to the highest rock and copied the Falcon's call—twisting it into a cry for help.

Three eagles turned toward the mountain.

The Falcon heard the call.

He looked down.

And there stood the Chameleon.

For a moment, the Falcon said nothing.

Then he flew.

The three eagles descended on the peak. But the Falcon knew every current, every cliff, every turn of the mountain

One by one, the eagles were driven away.

When the Falcon returned, the Chameleon, looking remorseful, was waiting among the rocks. He looked at the creature he had once carried from the flames.

“I saved you from the fire,” he said quietly. “You repaid me by setting my home on fire.”

The Chameleon lowered his head.

“Give me another chance,” he begged.

The Falcon said nothing.

Then he cast him from the mountain.

And reclaimed his sky...
