This woman, known as a sinner, comes to Jesus with repentance and humility. Despite the accusing looks of others, she approaches the Lord with faith. Jesus does not condemn her: he grants her forgiveness and restores her peace through the salvation of her soul. Jesus forgives, saves, and restores. Where guilt constantly reminds us of the past, the grace of Christ opens a new path. True faith leads us to Jesus as we are, but it does not leave us as we are. The forgiveness received must become a lived peace. If Christ has forgiven, do not continue to carry what he has already taken away. Draw near to Jesus with sincerity, believe in his forgiveness, and stop living as a prisoner of your past. Receive his forgiveness and salvation through faith. You will then be able to move forward in peace, because your faith rests on Christ.
