📖 Psalm 118:24 Another beautiful Sunday, the day the Lord has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it. As we come forth today, as we go to church and assemble with brothers and sisters in the Lord, I pray that every one of you has a great, great day. “This is the day the LORD has made; We will rejoice and be glad in it.” — NKJV There is something powerful in those words, “We will rejoice.” The psalmist does not say we will rejoice because everything went our way. He does not say we will be glad because there are no problems, disappointments, or battles. He says we will rejoice because this is the day the Lord has made. That means rejoicing is a decision of faith. Every morning God gives us another day, another opportunity to walk with Him, trust Him, serve Him, love people, and fulfill His purpose for our lives. Yesterday is gone. We cannot change it. Tomorrow has not arrived. We are not promised it. But today is here, and today is a gift from God. Maybe you woke up facing circumstances you did not choose. Maybe there are unanswered prayers, financial pressures, family concerns, or situations you still do not understand. Do not allow those circumstances to steal the day God has given you. Philippians 4:4 says, “Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice!” Notice where our rejoicing is found. It is in the Lord, not necessarily in our circumstances. So today, choose gratitude over complaining, faith over fear, and praise over discouragement. God is still faithful. God is still good. God is still on the throne. Whatever today brings, declare with confidence: “This is the day the LORD has made; I WILL rejoice and be glad in it!” 🙏 Thank You, Father, for the gift of today. Help me use it for Your glory. Amen.
