*TODAY'S PROPHETIC DECLARATION - TUESDAY, 8TH SEPTEMBER, 2026.*
*HIDDEN UNDER THE SHADOW OF HIS WINGS*
SCRIPTURE:
“Keep me as the apple of the eye, hide me under the shadow of thy wings, from the wicked that oppress me, from my deadly enemies, who compass me about.”

*REFLECTION – GOD IS YOUR HIDING PLACE*
Psalm 17:8–9 is a heartfelt prayer for divine protection, preservation, and security.
David asks God to keep him as the “apple of the eye”—a picture of something precious that must be carefully protected. He then asks to be hidden “under the shadow of thy wings.”
What a comforting assurance!
There are seasons when we realize that human strength, connections, influence, and resources cannot protect us from every danger. But the child of God has a greater place of safety: the presence of the Almighty.
Being under God's wings does not mean that we will never face challenges. It means that we do not face them alone.
God knows the battles you cannot see.
He knows the conversations you have not heard.
He sees the dangers you cannot detect.
He understands the plans that may be hidden from you.
And He is able to preserve you.
Today, make God your refuge.
Do not allow fear to control your heart because of what you see around you. Instead, place your confidence in the God who watches over His children.
When you are under His wings, you can rest.
