“𝘍𝘳𝘰𝘮 𝘩𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘵 𝘵𝘰 𝘩𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘵, 𝘧𝘳𝘰𝘮 𝘴𝘩𝘰𝘳𝘦 𝘵𝘰 𝘴𝘩𝘰𝘳𝘦—
𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘎𝘰𝘴𝘱𝘦𝘭 𝘮𝘦𝘴𝘴𝘢𝘨𝘦 𝘮𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘴𝘱𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘥 𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘦.”
We live in a world filled with urgent headlines, fading trends, and voices competing for attention. Yet one message alone carries eternal weight: the gospel of Jesus Christ. Whether our world feels too dark, too divided, or too distant to reach, the question is not whether the nations need the gospel—but whether we will help carry it while time remains.
Jesus declared in 🕮 𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐰 𝟐𝟒:𝟏𝟒, “𝘈𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘨𝘰𝘴𝘱𝘦𝘭 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘥𝘰𝘮 𝘴𝘩𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘣𝘦 𝘱𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘤𝘩𝘦𝘥 𝘪𝘯 𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘭𝘥 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘢 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘯𝘦𝘴𝘴 𝘶𝘯𝘵𝘰 𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘯𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘴; 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘯 𝘴𝘩𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘦𝘯𝘥 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘦.” The Gospel’s worldwide witness is clear. The message that reached us was never meant to stop. Until He returns, the Gospel must keep moving—from heart to heart, generation to generation, and everywhere Christ is unknown.
A fire was never meant to stay under the ashes. When the flame is alive, it spreads. One burning torch can light another without losing its own flame. So it is with the Gospel. We do not lose Christ by sharing Him. The more faithfully the message is proclaimed, the farther its light reaches into the darkness. The fire that never leaves us was never meant to be kept by us.
Christ commanded, “𝘎𝘰 𝘺𝘦 𝘪𝘯𝘵𝘰 𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘭𝘥, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘱𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘤𝘩 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘨𝘰𝘴𝘱𝘦𝘭 𝘵𝘰 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺 𝘤𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘦” (𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐤 𝟏𝟔:𝟏𝟓). He promised, “𝘠𝘦 𝘴𝘩𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘣𝘦 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘯𝘦𝘴𝘴𝘦𝘴 𝘶𝘯𝘵𝘰 𝘮𝘦” (𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐬 𝟏:𝟖). Paul asked, “𝘏𝘰𝘸 𝘴𝘩𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘺 𝘣𝘦𝘭𝘪𝘦𝘷𝘦 𝘪𝘯 𝘩𝘪𝘮 𝘰𝘧 𝘸𝘩𝘰𝘮 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘺 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘩𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘥?” (𝐑𝐨𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐬 𝟏𝟎:𝟏𝟒). The need remains. The command remains. The Gospel remains. And until Christ returns, our mission remains.
We must not carry the gospel like a covered lamp, keeping light where darkness needs it most. The mission is too great for spectators and the message is too precious for silence. Some will go across oceans; others will pray, give, serve, and witness where God has placed them. But none of us are excused from the mission. A fire kept to itself soon becomes only smoke.
Before Christ sent the gospel to the nations, He gave Himself for the nations. He was “𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘓𝘢𝘮𝘣 𝘰𝘧 𝘎𝘰𝘥, 𝘸𝘩𝘪𝘤𝘩 𝘵𝘢𝘬𝘦𝘵𝘩 𝘢𝘸𝘢𝘺 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘴𝘪𝘯 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘭𝘥” (𝐉𝐨𝐡𝐧 𝟏:𝟐𝟗). He died for our sins, was buried, and rose again the third day according to the Scriptures (𝟏 𝐂𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐬 𝟏𝟓:𝟑–𝟒). The risen Christ is not only our Saviour; He is the King whom every nation must hear and be proclaimed.
What part of the world—your workplace, your family, your city—still waits to hear through you? You don’t need Christ just to keep your faith alive—you need Him because He ignites us to spread His Gospel. Pray for the lost. Speak what He says. Go where He sends. Keep spreading the Gospel; let the fire spread, until every nation hears, until the Lord Jesus comes.
𝐏𝐫𝐚𝐲𝐞𝐫: Heavenly Father, thank You for the gift of the Gospel. Ignite our hearts with a passion to share Your truth until every nation hears. Help us to overcome our fears and distractions, so we can boldly proclaim Your message of hope. May we be faithful in our mission until the day of Your return. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
Remember, a dose of God’s Word a day will keep you going all day!
