FOR I KNOW HIM!
The third ancient insights I would like to share with you today, is the virtue called TRUST. It is not associated with any religion or people. It is neutral in nature. It is a virtue of inestimable value. Throughout scripture, only twice did God ever referenced any man: Job and Abraham. And this happened on the basis of TRUST.
Speaking with the Angels, He said: I can't hide my plans from Abraham, for I trust him. To Satan, he said: have you considered my servant, Job? Can God say the same of you? In this generation, trust has been eroded. You will hear the popular saying: "trust no one". This is because everyone has lost confidence and trust in each other. BUT TRUST REMAIN A FUNDAMENTAL ASSET FOR ACCESSING SUCCESS AND GREATNESS IN LIFE.
I grew up in the days when people come to the Church to find trustworthy individuals to employ. You can forget your purse and come back to get it. Today, we have lost it. Pastor's don't preach it because they are also guilty - their message is all about motivation, hope, prophecy and prosperity now. Many marriages, families and friendships have suffered divorce and heartbreaks because trust was broken. Businesses have crumbled and crashed because trust was broken. Little wonder, we have had little or no progress in this generation. IT IS TIME TO RETURN TO THIS ANCIENT LANDMARK SO THE NEXT GENERATION WILL NOT SPIT ON OUR FACES.
Look unto Abraham your father, and unto Sarah that bare you:... Isaiah 51:2. Our fathers were not perfect but they were trusted men and women. They were custodian of certain ancient secrets by reason of trust. Listen, TRUST is a currency of life. It has a greater purchasing power than money. It is the foundation for success and progress. When you are trustworthy, secrets, resources, opportunities, access will be made available to you without stress. If you want trusted people around you, first be a trustworthy person. Don't just be a trustworthy person, pass on the virtue of trust first to your children and then your generation. I can't hide my plans from Abraham FOR I KNOW HIM - what a reference for a man.
