Psalm 14:7 — Jacob Shall Rejoice

"Oh that the salvation of Israel were come out of Zion! when the LORD bringeth back the captivity of his people, Jacob shall rejoice, and Israel shall be glad." — Psalm 14:7 (KJV)

Oh that the salvation of Israel were come out of Zion — a sigh from David's heart, a longing for rescue that has risen to heaven for generations.
Zion — the mountain where God chose to dwell; salvation comes not from armies but from the LORD on His holy hill.

The story behind the verse — Psalm 14 began with the fool saying there is no God, but it ends not in despair, but in this longing for deliverance.
When the LORD bringeth back the captivity of his people — notice who does it: the LORD alone restores what was taken and leads His people home.
Jacob shall rejoice — every weary child of God will lift their head when deliverance comes.

And Israel shall be glad — the greatest joy is not escaping captivity, but knowing the God who sets you free.
Salvation out of Zion has come — in the fullness of time the Savior was born in Bethlehem; His name is Jesus.

Today, the LORD turns your captivity too — whatever holds you, He can restore the years the enemy stole.
Long for His salvation — the God who brought Israel out of Zion will not forget His people.

The video closes with a prayer of hope — asking the LORD to send His salvation, restore what the enemy has taken, and fill His people with joy — followed by an invitation to share the message with someone who needs to hear it.

Salvation comes from the LORD, and He is bringing His people home. Rejoice, for He is faithful.
