Sometimes God allows us to feel the limits of human love so we’ll stop expecting people to fill places in us that only He can. People will disappoint you. They’ll misunderstand you. They’ll promise forever and sometimes still walk away. Even the people who love you deeply are still human. But God? He doesn’t get tired of you. He doesn’t love you less on your hardest days. He doesn’t leave when you’re difficult to understand. His love isn’t dependent on how well you’re doing. Maybe some of the heartbreak wasn’t meant to convince you that love isn’t real… Maybe it was meant to teach you the difference between human love and His. People can love you deeply and still fall short. God never will. 🤍
