Father God,
Tonight we lift up every person in
Knoxville, TN..... who is living under bridges, in parks, in the woods, on the streets, or anywhere they have been forced to seek shelter.
Lord, You know every story behind every face. You know who is struggling with addiction, who is battling mental-health challenges, who has been trafficked or exploited, who has been abandoned, and who simply experienced circumstances that spiraled beyond their control.
Please protect them.
Keep them safe from violence, gangs, trafficking, exploitation, abuse, and those who would take advantage of their vulnerability. Protect the women and girls who are afraid. Protect the young men who are wandering and confused. Watch over those with disabilities who may not have anyone advocating for them.
Father, they are asking for real help. Please raise up people and organizations willing to listen—not simply manage the problem, but genuinely help people find a path toward safety, stability, healing, housing, work, community, and hope.
Give wisdom to the people serving them. Give them discernment to recognize what each person truly needs. Help them listen without judgment and serve without pride. Give them courage to keep showing up when the work is difficult.
And Lord, please soften the hearts of our communities and our leaders. Let these people be seen not as statistics or problems, but as human beings created in Your image and deeply loved by You.

For those struggling with mental illness, bring compassionate support and stability.
For those who are hungry, provide food.
For those without shelter, provide safe homes.
For those who feel forgotten, remind them that they are not forgotten by You.
For those who feel hopeless, let them encounter the hope found in Jesus Christ.
And Father, for every person who says, “I’m not going anywhere,” give them the strength, wisdom, protection, and resources to keep showing up.

Jesus, be near to the brokenhearted. Bring light into dark places. Restore what has been lost, protect the vulnerable, and lead every searching heart toward You.
