MIRIAM HELPS HER FAMILY
KEY VERSE: “Then said his sister to Pharaoh's daughter, Shall I go and call to thee a nurse of the Hebrew women, that she may nurse the child for thee?” (EXODUS 2:7)
BIBLE TEXT: EXODUS 2:4-10
Moses was born at a time when the life of a male child was in danger and the hope of living was slim. However, his mother who saw that he was a goodly child decided to do all that she can to Keep her baby alive.
She cannot do this alone she sought the help of Miriam, Moses' elder sister who proved useful and dedicated beyond her age.
Miriam's name portrayed the following characteristics; M - Mindful of other's needs I – Innovative in thoughts and action R – Resourceful and intelligent I – Industrious as a helper to her parents A – Available for Gods divine purpose M – Motherly and caring
What about you, how helpful are you at home, church and your neighbourhood? Can you be trusted with the care of your younger ones? Write your name vertically and find good characteristics that match your actions with your name and pray for grace to live it out in your life.
