Kingdom Carriers | What Are We Carrying?

We can carry many things in the name of faith. Our knowledge. Our convictions.
Our church traditions. Even our ministry.

But ultimately, a Kingdom Carrier is called to carry the life and character of Jesus.

Paul wrote:
“For we are to God the pleasing aroma of Christ among those who are being saved and those who are perishing.”
(2 Corinthians 2:15)

What an extraordinary picture.

Before people understand our theology, they often encounter our spirit, our attitude, our words and the way we treat them.

So perhaps the question isn't only:

“Did I tell someone about Jesus?”

But also:
“Did they encounter something of Jesus in me?”

His compassion, His grace, His truth, His patience, His courage, His love.

Because the Kingdom was never meant to be something we merely talk about.

It should leave the fragrance of the King wherever we go.

And perhaps that's what being a Kingdom Carrier really means:

Not drawing attention to what we carry, but allowing what we carry to draw attention to Jesus.

Grace and peace,

Jacob
