David and Jonathan renew their covenant of loyalty and love. Lesson: True friendship stands with what is right, even when it is costly. Godly relationships are built on loyalty, truth, and sacrificial love. 🟪 NEW TESTAMENT Revelation 18 — The Fall of Babylon John sees the dramatic fall of Babylon, representing a corrupt system built on pride, immorality, materialism, and rebellion against God. Lesson: Whatever is built against God will eventually fall. We must not become so attached to worldly success that we compromise our faith. 🟨 MAJOR PROPHETS Isaiah 55 — An Invitation to Abundant Life God invites everyone who is thirsty to come to Him freely. He calls His people to seek Him, abandon wicked ways, and trust His higher thoughts and purposes. Lesson: God's invitation is open. Give me the wisdom to recognize relationships and influences that draw me away from You. Keep my heart from worldly pride and compromise, and help me trust Your thoughts and purposes even when I do not understand them. May Your Word accomplish Your purpose in my life.
