[2] Speak ye comfortably to Jerusalem, and cry unto her, that her warfare is accomplished, that her iniquity is pardoned: for she hath received of the Lord's hand double for all her sins. Isaiah 40:1-2 KJV COMFORT YE, COMFORT YE! When a word appears twice in a verse or chapter, it shows urgency of execution. It shows that God is in a hurry to accomplish his word to whomever that Word is sent to. Today, God's Word is coming to you - COMFORT, COMFORT MY PEOPLE. God is sending his word to you that: this is your season of comfort. This is your time to enjoy comfort. And He (God) has already gone forth to deliver on this promise. There's an urgency with God to bring you comfort. You have suffered long, you have endured pain, you have seen and tasted shame, harassment and embarrassments for too long; NOW IS YOUR TIME TO BE COMFORTED. To Comfort, is to provide relief and satisfaction to one who is suffering. So comfort comes with provision and satisfaction. That means: today, this week; you will enjoy supernatural provision. God will satisfy you with abundance. You will eat in plenty, no more lack, no more scarcity. Surely there is an end. The end of your tears has come. The end of your pains and anguish has come. You are in your season of comfort. There's more! 2. When God brings comfort, it also comes with an end to hard labour, sweat. He said: ...her warfare is accomplished - it is over. The pain is not just over, the cause of the pain is stopped. This is God's Word for you. 3. When God comforts a man, He ... pardons her iniquity. In comfort, there is forgiveness, there is pardon. All that the adversary is holding on, to accuse and intimidate you has been wiped out. The record is empty, your past is no longer admissable. Glory to God! 4. When God brings comfort, He will also ...compensates her. He said: ... for she hath received of the Lord's hand double for all her sins. There is divine compensation for you today and this week. He confirmed it in Isaiah 61:7: for your shame, you shall have double. God has already gone forth to bring you comfort on every side. Get ready to receive it. No one can comfort you like God. They can only pity you. I therefore speak into your life recieve comfort, enjoy provision. Receive compensation, an end has come to your labour without Favour in Jesus precious name.
