The Weak and Strong (part I) <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Whether weak or strong, becoming like his Son is very key.

The mercies of God are purposed for heavenly and godly changes to come over your renewing the mind, presentational factors for the given setting of your circle of life. Now we may have a moment where we need an in-depth renewal and like Peter who received a vision in acts 10, knowing not the meaning he kept saying he would eat nothing common or unclean, he was later reproved by God. The Apostle Paul also received a thorn in the flesh, and he thought to himself to be delivered. However, the Lord had better in mind, and with instruction to receive grace for strength, he renewed his mind and continued forward.

These two both having the Holy Ghost, had something in mind for themselves even unto others to some degree. Yet he that abides in them both had something in mind that rose above with heavenly and godly character. A mind not for themselves but truly for others with all heavenly and godly degrees, that of the Word made flesh, becoming like his Son.

When it comes to weakness or pain, we may think we know what we need that's when we're thinking without God, but with God we know he can use that to shape me to become like his Son. The mercies of God are conditioning that one would be found enduring unto the end. I must go on renewed by his mercy. It's not being unaffected and strong without God, but with God. That you would know by God that you are found capable to bear the infirmities of the weak, not to please oneself. This extension of pleasing is for edification, like Christ pleased not himself.
