PART ONE: Did you know that the OT lists out 613 Laws with Scripture throughout those books, that give detailed instruction about how to carry out each? God Has an eye for details, as shown throughout the Word in other examples. It has become common knowldege recently, that in modern times, as well, as from as far back as the time periods that the Bible was happening & then written about, parts & pieces have been misunderstood, erroneously taught to congregations, (some through ignorance, but also some through purposefully manipulation). Also, since the beginnings of the ideas that shaped the translated Word from the original authors' languages into English. the TRUE WORD has been lost, in many cases, in translation or seemingly irrelevant as cultures & languages grew & changed in lifestyles.
It is taught in many denominations, that the New Testament claims of Christ's Life's Purpose Fulfilled & therefore cancelled, the validity of the Teaching of the Old Testament Law, as we ARE most assuredly saved by Grace through Christ & His Sacrifices, including His voluntary Suffering & Death upon an old rugged cross & witnessed Resurrection, not the letter of the Law.
