Tomorrow is election day, where the American people will choose the person they believe will, keep all those political promises that have been made, don't forget though that our true faith should be placed in Jesus Christ alone.
Don’t look left or right. LOOK UP!
In these times of political turmoil and division, when worldly governments who work for the confederacy of satan try to sway God’ children to make a choice called the “lesser of two evils.”Let us remember where our true hope and security lie.
We are often tempted to look to donkeys and elephants for answers, seeking peace and safety or false hope and prosperity.
But this is not what God intended for us.
He sent us a Savior, a teacher, a guide, to show us the way.
And by His true example we are to follow.
It is not by means of force or by law, but by LOVE.
We belong to the LAMB!
Jesus has given us a mission of LOVE, this mission transcends the fleeting promises of political leaders.
He warned us about the divisiveness of politics and reminded us to focus on higher, eternal matters.
In Matthew 22:21, Jesus said, "Render therefore to Caesar the things that are Caesar’s, and to God the things that are God’s."
This teaches us that while we may participate in society, our ultimate allegiance belongs to God, not to man-made systems.
Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God" (Matthew 5:9).
Jesus advocates for his followers to actively prioritize peaceful solutions and reconciliation over conflict and division.
In Matthew 6:24, Jesus warned, No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other.
Jesus gives us a clear warning against corruption, greed, and the misuse of power.
Christ's kingdom operates on a different plane, one that does not rely on political strife or power struggles.
John 18:36 Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world. If My kingdom were of this world, My servants would fight, so that I should not be delivered to the Jews; but now My kingdom is not from here.
Our primary identity is as citizens of Heaven, not of any earthly nation or political party. We are to be about the Fathers business, soul winning for the kingdom.
- Philippians 3:20 For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ.
Our trust should be placed in God, not in human leaders who are fallible and transient. No one of this world is worthy to rule higher than our LORD.
Psalm 118:8-9 It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man. It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in princes.
We are not to hear the councils or follow the directions of men who are not under the influence of the Spirit of God. We are not to look to the world for our duty, but to God. We are to trust in the living God and serve Him with undivided hearts.
— _Testimonies for the Church_, Vol. 9, p. 218.
The Lord would have His people bury political questions. On these themes, silence is eloquence. Christ calls upon His followers to come into unity on the pure gospel principles which are plainly revealed in the word of God.— _Gospel Workers_, p. 391.
Let us focus our hearts and minds on the mission Jesus gave us: to love one another (John 13:34), to spread the good news of His kingdom (Matthew 28:19-20), and to live in unity as His followers (John 17:21).
Politics will inevitably divide us. satan loves keeping God’ children distracted by division and hate, he loves disrupting the mission that Jesus has and gave for us.
It is so hard seeing brothers and sisters turn away from one another or hate each other because a difference in political views or ideologies, if we were steady in HIS WORD and not the media or the world we would be on the same page.
Our hope and our peace come from God alone. As Psalm 121:1-2 says, I will lift up my eyes to the hills—from whence comes my help?
My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth.
In these divisive times, let us remember, don’t look left or right, LOOK UP!
The love of Christ can and will unites us.
Let us put our trust in the eternal, unchanging God, and let our actions reflect His LOVE and His kingdom.
In Christ' Love.
