religion is an addiction... about giving yourself good feelings by oppressing others through shame and guilt... it is a form of narcissistic abuse..

here is an example of how religion works...

don't be like your father he is a no good lazy drunk who is not a real man because he was spoiled rotten by his mother and his sisters and his father didn't give a damn about him... god has something better for you...

only you will never see anything better... you will only see accusations... the ones accusing you will be committing sins equal or greater but their sins will miraculously be considered minor or non existent or will be excused because of the sins by which you are accused.. it does not matter whether your sins are real or imagined because you will be stuck in the loop of male shaming from birth... you will accuse even your own self.

this is one way that the addiction of religion works.
