QUESTIONS FOR THE BODY OF CHRIST:

Are you in God's Word daily? Are you seeking to be filled, eager for and praying to be blessed with knowledge, understanding & wisdom?

Do you look at your Bible as just a book, or is it a daily necessity that you just can't get enough of?

Do you take it further than just reading, and instead you're studying, meditating and digging into everything you read?

Do you truly believe that all scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness?

I pray that your answer is yes to all these questions, and if it's not, I pray this post makes you want to start turning those nos into yesses!

Let love for God's Word become so important in your life that it's more of a necessity than your need for food and water!

Let today be the day you start developing what I like to call a "Psalm 119 kinda love" for The Word of God! Psalm 119 would be such a good starting point for anyone who answered no to any of the questions I listed out. It's my very favorite Psalm and expresses how much I love The Word, how important it is to me, and so much more!

There's free daily bread available to all those who are hungry... and NOTHING in this world is more satisfying!

Psalm 119:103-105
How sweet are thy words unto my taste! yea, sweeter than honey to my mouth! Through thy precepts I get understanding: therefore I hate every false way. Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.

My Heavenly Father, I pray this reaches those you want it to who have eyes to see and ears to hear. I ask that you light a fire of desire in them that causes an overwhelming hunger for Your Word. I thank You for giving us a way to draw closer to You daily, to know You, to seek Your perfect ways instead of our own flawed ways. We need You Father, we need Your direction, instruction, conviction and forgiveness, and we are so grateful to You for laying out a path for us through Your Word. Just as You put it on my heart to share this, I pray You put it on the hearts of those who see it to lay down their devices now and open up Your Word. All these things I pray in The glorious Name of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Amen.
