In 1968 I had the opportunity to preach at the Seaman's Mission at Plymouth Hoe in Devon UK. I had a young lady friend with me, to sing "The old Rugged Cross" before I stood to preach.
Outside the Mission there were speakers set up to carry the sound. As Julia began to sing, the breeze carried the music across the Marina, where a man was working on his boat. The man stopped what he was doing, and, drawn by the music, he stepped inside the Mission. At the end of my message on the Cross, the man was gloriously saved. HALLELUJAH!
