*HOW TO RECEIVE (PART 3).*
Matthew 10:40-41 (KJV).... *He that receiveth you receiveth me, and he that receiveth me receiveth him that sent me.*
[41 *] He that receiveth a prophet in the name of a prophet shall receive a prophet's reward; and he that receiveth a righteous man in the name of a righteous man shall receive a righteous man's reward* .
It is very obvious that the reason a lot of people don’t receive from their man of God is because they are ignorant of how to receive from a man of God in the name of a man of God. This is a powerful truth. To receive from a prophet, you will first perceive him to be a prophet. I.e., you don’t guess or ask if he is a prophet, but you know for certain he is a prophet.
Another way you receive from a prophet is to HONOUR him as a prophet. This is regardless of who he is to you. Whether your brother, friend, or spouse. When you want to receive from him, you must put on another eyeglass and connect with the God of his calling by honouring him.
Learn to respect him, clean his car, wash his clothes, and clean his shoes. Do not take for granted his presence in your life. Don’t look for his mistakes or wish to hear some negative rumours about him. Even if you live with him and you see him every day, try not to be used to him, because with that, you can’t receive from him. Be wise.
Prayer:
Ask God to forgive you because I sense we have missed it. Sing unto him and thank him.
