“For God intended that your faith not be established on man’s wisdom but by trusting in his almighty power.”
(1 Corinthians 2:5 TPT)
It does not matter, the situation or circumstance. It does not matter what the report says (medical, legal, financial or the government). The gift of faith is not based on the way things appear, the way that you feel, or what others have to say about what you are going through.
The gift of faith, is based, solely on the Word that the Father has already spoken. The Word is FOREVER SETTLED in HEAVEN (Psalm 119:89).
Kingdom reality of the Father’s Word, is truth, whether you believe it or not. You are the only one that determines this truth to work in your life, by your faith (your belief).
If you choose not to believe the Word, it doesn’t make it untrue, it just won’t work in your own situation.
There a couple of things that will prevent what you are believing for and standing on from coming to pass.
One is, we sometimes, believe by faith, only what is easy to believe. It’s easy to have faith for salvation, but when is comes to the impossible, we hinder what we are believing for, because we start listening to the lies of the enemy, that we are not good enough to have the power to walk in the gift of faith.
Another reason is, that we have become a society of wanting it and wanting now. Our patience, more times than not, will stop us from receiving by faith (James 1:3-4). We must realize that the Father has perfect timing, He knows the end from the beginning.
One of the key scriptures that gives us direction for you stance concerning the gift of faith is found in Ephesians 6:13 (AMP) in …
“Therefore, put on the complete armor of God, so that you will be able to [successfully] resist and stand your ground in the evil day [of danger], and having done everything [that the crisis demands], to stand firm [in your place, fully prepared, immovable, victorious].”
So, we mast be willing to stand by faith until His Word is manifested in our situation .
This key is; you must determine in your heart that you will believe or not believe. That you are willing to stand your ground in faith, no matter what it looks like, what you hear, or how you feel, and for as long as it takes.
The gift of faith is just that… a gift. Will you receive it?
