The Key to Humility
Jesus didn’t come to give us information about God; He came as God Himself.
The people Jesus commended for their faith were those who had heard about Him and placed their trust in who He was.
Their faith didn’t come from accumulating Bible knowledge, as many think today. It came from who Jesus was.
The same is true today; you can know Jesus and have faith, or you can acquire more and more knowledge. The key to life is in knowing Jesus.
“We all possess knowledge. But knowledge puffs up, while love builds up” (1 Corinthians 8:1).
