Knowledge

My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.
Because you have rejected knowledge,
I also will reject you from being priest for Me;
Beause you have forgotten the law of your God,
also I will forget your children. Hosea 4:6 NKJV

This lack of knowledge is not an innocent ignorance of knowledge, rather a intentional rejection of knowledge, through the constant refusal to seek the knowledge that God provides through His Word (the Bible).

The only way to avoid this is to obey the instruction given in 2 Timothy 2:15.

Study to show yourself approved unto GOD, a workman, unashamed, rightly deviding the word of truth.

Studying the Word of God, opens to the one studying, the very heart and mind of God, and the knowledge that is gained, will show you, the way of life, and eternal life, through Christ Jesus. If knowledge is power than the knowledge gained through God's Word, is, ULTIMATE POWER!

Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you
rest. Take my yoke upon you, and LEARN from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.  For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.” Matthew 11:28-30 (Jesus speaking)
