The only power to create true peace

Men cannot manufacture peace. Human plans for the purification and uplifting individuals or of society will fail of producing peace, because they do not reach the heart. The only power that can create perpetuate tire peace is the grace of Christ. When this is implanted in the heart, it will cast out the evil passions that cause strife and dissension......and life's desert " shall rejoice the blossom of the rose(Isaiah 35:1).

Isaiah 35:3-9 (KJV) Strengthen ye the weak hands, and confirm the feeble knees.
Say to them that are of a fearful heart, Be strong, fear not: behold, your God will come with vengeance, even God with a recompence; he will come and save you.

Streams in the desert

So it is with the tire child of God. The religion of Christ reveals itself as a vitalizing, pervading principle, s living, working, spiritual energy. When the heart is opened to the heavenly of the influence of truth and love, these principal will flow forth again like streams in the desert, causing fruitfulness appear where none are barrenness and death.

Isaiah 35:10 (KJV) And the ransomed of the LORD shall return, and come to Zion with songs and everlasting joy upon their heads: they shall obtain joy and gladness, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away.

The gift of music
