Good morning to everyone. Grace and peace be with you.
I do believe that my body is telling me that I am not young anymore. I was hoping that it was just a flook or a bad practical joke, however, with each passing day I am finding that this is a reality. Pretty sure that my warranty has expired and with my organizational skills, who knows where the paperwork is.
Learning is like an obstacle course. Some parts are smooth and easy to navigate. Some pieces take a little bit of patience and ingenuity. Some are seemingly impossible…until they are not. Then there are those areas that appear at first as useless information, but later realize that this particular piece of education was the main lesson of the day.
A lesson was taught last night in my doctor show that I have encountered or been witness to a couple of times in my life. I never thought much about it before, but now stands out in my mind. To note how much it stands out, I have re-written this post … well this part of the post four times now. I know that I have to write on it, but …
Let’s continue…sitting her staring at the screen is not getting anything accomplished.
Each of us has a different learning level. How quickly we pick up on new tasks. How long it takes for a new task to take hold and stick with us. Or how little it takes us to forget what we learned. Some tasks or lessons have to take on different forms of the same thing to be able to be grasped. But once we do grasp it, it is ours. Depending on the lesson, the person, and the circumstance …depends on how it is received. We have to be willing to learn or it hits our shield and bounces off, waiting for another day.
The last is a good example of the lesson I learned last night while watching the doctor show. Now, after seeing it in make believe … remembering it in real time … I see that I was not ready in God’s eyes to fully comprehend the nature of what I witnessed. Just like we shield our children from the uglies of the world as best we can, God has shielded me from this very truth … until now. Honestly, I am not sure how I feel about that. I think I would rather have been left in the dark. However, as with other lessons I have learned over the last decade, I am thankful. I obviously need to know this know this in order to be there for someone else as comfort.
We are not always going to agree with his tactics or his lessons, however, you will see in the long run that the purpose of the lesson is for good. Not to torture you. While in the midst of the lesson, try to remember that the focus of the lesson is good. It is always good. Even when it feels so bad. The enemy will promote the bad to shield you from the Light. You must open your eyes and heart to seek the Light and kick the enemy to the curb.
I realize that today is a bit of a shattered trail of randomness, I pray that this makes some sort of sense.
Be blessed today my friends.
***I will do as what you have asked. I will give you a wise and discerning heart, so that there will never have been anyone like you, nor will there ever be. – 1 Kings 3:12
