*TRUSTING IN THE LORD (PART 2).*

Proverbs 11:28 (KJV).... *.He that trusteth in his riches shall fall: But the righteous shall flourish as a branch.*

Yesterday, we established that trust is to lean on or to have confidence in another. People all over the world cast their confidence on different things and people.

Our theme scripture is warning us of the danger of putting your trust in riches. He says: The one who puts his trust in his riches shall fall.

What does this mean? It means that to trust in earthly riches will bring you disappointment, death, and failure of all kinds. How can a person put his trust (confidence) in riches that flies? How can you put your trust in things made by man? The result of such trust is a total collapse. The person will die, but the righteous shall flourish as a branch.

The reason the righteous will flourish like a branch is because the righteous puts his trust in the Lord. Child of God, I advise you today not to put your trust in earthly things, material things of this life, but in the Lord, who lives and reigns forever. Hallelujah.

Prayer:
Oh I thank you father. I thank you for teaching me your word. I thank you for admonishing me not to put my trust in things but on you and I agree in my heart to live like this all the rest of my life in Jesus name. Amen.

Bible Reference: Psalm 4:1-5, 5:9-11.
