*TRUSTING IN THE LORD (PART 3).*
Proverbs 16:20 (KJV)......... *He that handleth a matter wisely shall find good: And whoso trusteth in the LORD, HAPPY IS HE* .
Trusting in the Lord has some advantages it gives to the believer. The one who decides to trust in the Lord does not go empty-handed. There are things trusting in the Lord adds to your life. One of such things is what our theme scripture is saying to you and I today. It says the person whose trust is in the Lord will be HAPPY.
What does it mean to be happy?
The Amplified translation puts it this way Proverbs 16:20 (AMPC)...... *He who deals wisely and heeds [God's] word and counsel shall find good, and whoever leans on, trusts in, and is confident in the Lord–happy, blessed, and fortunate is he.*
It means that if you and I can trust in the word of God, then it means that it will make us happy, blessed, and fortunate. What else do you want if trusting in the Lord will make you blessed and fortunate?
It means that God will use you to demonstrate to all that it pays to trust in the Lord. Yes, trusting in the Lord will cost you things; it will cost you your friends and their time of company, but in the end, you shall be blessed. Amen.
Prayer:
Thank you my father for blessing me with your words. Thank you for teaching me to trust you and the blessings that follows those that trust you. I am a partaker of this blessing today because I have chosen to trust in you.
